What We Do

Interfaith Alliance of Idaho collaborates with progressive organizations, people of faith and goodwill, and people of conscience to develop and implement strategies to build stronger communities, advance social justice through education, and support our democracy at the state and local levels.

As concerned people of faith and good will working to promote the positive healing role of religion in our state, The Interfaith Alliance of Idaho will seek to provide a platform for all people of faith and good will who seek to develop a positive role for religion as it impacts government and society.

The Interfaith Alliance of Idaho (TIA of Idaho) was reorganized in October 1999 by progressive clergy and people of faith who realized that Idaho was in need of an inclusive faith perspective and an interfaith voice that spoke in terms of love, respect, civility, healing and diversity. We are an affiliate of The Interfaith Alliance based in Washington, DC; a member of the statewide progressive coalition United Vision for Idaho; have statewide membership and affiliates.
