“Understanding Proposed Cuts to Safety Net Programs and How You Can Stand Up for Working Idaho Families” Webinar

Posted on August 2, 2017 by Erin Cross
Thank you for all who attended the webinars.  We will post a recording as soon as it is available.

The U.S. House Budget Committee on July 19, 2017 passed a budget plan that would severely cut many federal programs that support working-poor Idaho families, including food assistance, income assistance, child care, healthcare, and education. The cuts are being planned to pave the way for large tax cuts that would primarily benefit the wealthiest. The window of time to stop this Robin Hood-in-reverse proposal is now until early October. Learn more about the proposal and what you can do! Hosted by Interfaith Alliance of Idaho, Idaho Asset Building Network, and the Idaho Center for Fiscal Policy.

We invite you to join us for an informative webinar including Q&A session.  Choose between either of the days (with their respective times) listed below (same presentation).  Click on the link to register and attend the webinar.
